Day 1 – Arrival to Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey! Upon landing at Istanbul New Airport(IST) or Sabiha Gökcen Airport(SAW), you make your self-check-in with the flight information provided to you after you booked this tour and take your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at Cappadocia Airport, our team will welcome you at the exit gate inside the domestic terminal where you will see our team holding a sign which is your name on it. Then there will be approximately an hour transfer distance to Cappadocia, your stay will be in Cappadocia.

Day 2 –  Cappadocia Red Tour

The tour will depart at 9.30 am and you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide before departure time The first stop is Uçhisar Castle, the highest rock formation in  Cappadocia.  The guide will explain just how this amazing landscape came into existence. The second stop of this tour is Open Air Museum. Open Air Museum is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1985 and known as holy for the first Christians. You will see churches, rock formations used as shelters, and monasteries made with stone and It is worth it to come a long way.

Love Valley is one of the best points where you can see the incredible forms of fairy chimneys with a panoramic view.  Paşabağ (also known as Monks Valley) is the best area where you can observe the formations of fairy chimneys and some different types like; three-headed fairy chimneys and the thinnest neck fairy chimney. Now, time for a little rest for our valued guests by lunch at a local restaurant.  The next stop is Devrent Valley (“Imagination Valley”) - a stunning valley where you can spot natural rock formations in many recognizable shapes in Cappadocia, including the famous camel-shaped rock. Use your imagination and see what other shapes you can find.

The next place to visit is the town of Avanos. The most famous historical feature of Avanos is the production of traditional pottery. The ceramic trade and numerous pottery factories in this district date back to the Hittites, and ceramic clay obtained from the red clay of Kızılırmak have always been used. If you want, you can try to make your own unique pottery after the demonstration. The region is also famous for its handmade carpets, as the last stop we will see a traditional Cappadocia Carpet Factory.

At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 3 – Cappadocia Green Tour

Note: Hot Air Balloon tour is optional for this morning.

The tour will depart at 9.30 am and you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide before departure time. The first step of the green tour is Göreme Panorama which is a point to see and understand Cappadocia. The second stop is Underground City. Kaymaklı Underground City has 8 open floors for visiting. It is the largest underground settlement in Cappadocia, which dates back to the centuries. In Kaymaklı where many people lived together for ages ago, you’ll feel like in a time machine and be surprised by every floor and room you go deeper into.

The other famous Valley in Cappadocia is Pigeon Valley near Uçhisar. You can see pigeon houses carved from stone by ancient inhabitants.  In Cappadocia, gemstones and semi-precious stones are processed in onyx studios and these studios are one of the pleasant stops of Southern Tour Cappadocia.  Then be ready to hike about 4km in beautiful Red Valley passing through Rose Valley discovering beautiful rock churches, and arriving to Cavusin village, one of the ancient settlements of the region with its cave houses. For lunch, you are going to a traditional Turkish restaurant.

One of the best stops of the tour is Ürgüp. We can say Ürgüp is the most active and crowded place in the region. The attraction point of Ürgüp is its special fairy chimneys that look like a nuclear family and are called ‘Three Beauties / Üç Güzeller.

At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 4 – Flight From Cappadocia to İzmir

We will pick you up from the hotel according to your flight time and transfer you to the airport. Your flight time to İzmir is about 1 hour and 35 minutes. (some days direct, some days connection flight via Istanbul).  Upon landing at İzmir Airport, our team will meet you at the exit gate inside the domestic terminal. Then you will go a 40-minute drive to get to your hotel. Relax and enjoy your safe journey.

Free Time in Antalya. Overnight stay in Kuşadası  

Day 5 – Pamukkale and Hiearapolis Tour

Breakfast at the hotel and make your check-out. At around 08:00 – 08:30 am meet your tour guide at the reception and drive 3 hrs for a full-day tour of Pamukkale Hot Springs & Hierapolis Ancient City

Pamukkale is a natural site containing hot springs and travertines; terraces of mineral carbonates left by the water flowing with its temperate climate throughout the years. While exploring the Pamukkale Hot Springs, we will also see some ancient artifacts from the Hierapolis Ancient City which is located by the side of Pamukkale. The natural sources of Pamukkale have been used as a spa

since the 2nd century BC, and people come to get some cure. At the end of the explanation given by your guide, you will have free time to swim or take some individual time around Pamukkale.

During your time you may swim in the white terraces of Pamukkale(no extra cost), or in the Cleopatra Pool/Antique Pool(have an additional charge) filled with marble columns from the Roman temple of Apollo & Agora of the Ancient City Hierapolis. At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 6  –Ephesus & House Of The Virgin Mary Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up at 09:00-09:30 am and start a full-day tour of Ephesus. You will start your visit with one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world; Artemis Temple, the city ruins of Ephesus as Hadrian Temple, Celcius library, theater, hammams, and passing through the old harbor path. Then you will feel the holy atmosphere of the exceptional Isabey Mosque. You will have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant.

In the afternoon you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary where she spent her last 5 years, which is recognized by the Vatican as a pilgrimage destination for Christians, visited by Pope Leo XII and Benedict XVI.

End of the tour we will transfer to Izmir Airport to take the flight to Istanbul. After arrival, Our representative will welcome you at the exit gate inside of the international terminal holding a sign with your name. Then we will take you to your hotel in Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul

Day 7  –Istanbul Old City & Walking Tour  

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up at 09:00-09:30 am and start a full-day tour of Istanbul. The first step of the city tour is HIPPODROME, The center of sports activities with its four monuments; The GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, the Egyptian Obelisk, the SERPENTINE COLUMN, and the COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE.

The BLUE MOSQUE The most famous mosque of Istanbul is known as the BLUE MOSQUE as well because of its beautiful blue Iznik tiles.

THE HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. (Visit is not possible on Friday due to Friday Prayer)

GRAND BAZAAR(COVERED MARKET) In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area; the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx ware, and meerschaum pipers.
