‘’5 Days Tour of Turkey Package” starts from Istanbul and returns to Istanbul and takes 5 Days & 4 Nights. Tour of Turkey Package covers the most famous destinations of Turkey.

Day 1 –  Cappadocia Open Air Museum & Monks Valley Tour ( Red Tour )

Around the morning, we are going to pick you up from your Istanbul Hotel which should be centrally located in the Sultanahmet or Taksim regions, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. When you arrive at the airport, you make your self-check-in with the flight information provided to you after you booked this tour and take your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at Cappadocia Airport, our team will welcome you at the exit gate inside the domestic terminal where you will see our team holding a sign which is your name on it. Then there will be approximately an hour of transfer distance to Cappadocia, meet your group, and start this lifetime experience.

The first stop is Uçhisar Castle, the highest rock formation in  Cappadocia.  The guide will explain just how this amazing landscape came into existence. The second stop of this tour is Open Air Museum. Open Air Museum is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1985 and known as holy for the first Christians. You will see churches, rock formations used as shelters, and monasteries made with stone and It is worth it to come a long way.

Love Valley is one of the best points where you can see the incredible forms of fairy chimneys with a panoramic view.  Paşabağ (also known as Monks Valley) is the best area where you can observe the formations of fairy chimneys, also some different types of them like; three-headed fairy chimneys and the thinnest neck fairy chimney. Now, time for a little rest for our valued guests by lunch at a local restaurant.  The next stop is Devrent Valley (“Imagination Valley”) - a stunning valley where you can spot natural rock formations in many recognizable shapes in Cappadocia, including the famous camel-shaped rock. Use your imagination and see what other shapes you can find.

The next place to visit is the town of Avanos. The most famous historical feature of Avanos is the production of traditional pottery. The ceramic trade and numerous pottery factories in this district date back to the Hittites, and ceramic clay obtained from the red clay of Kızılırmak have always been used. If you want, you can try to make your own unique pottery after the demonstration.

One of the best stops of the tour is Ürgüp. We can say Ürgüp is the most active and crowded place in the region. The attraction point of Ürgüp is its special fairy chimneys that look like a nuclear family and are called ‘Three Beauties / Üç Güzeller.

The region is also famous for its handmade carpets, as the last stop we will see a traditional Cappadocia Carpet Factory.

At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 2 –Ihlara Valley & Underground City Tour (Green Tour)

Note: Hot Air Balloon tour is optional for this morning.

The tour will depart at 9.30 am and you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide before departure time. The first step of the green tour is Göreme Panorama which is a point to see and understand Cappadocia. The second stop is Underground City. Kaymaklı Underground City has 8 open floors for visiting. It is the largest underground settlement in Cappadocia, which dates back to the centuries. In Kaymaklı where many people lived together ages ago, you’ll feel like in a time machine and be surprised by every floor and room you go deeper into.

Selime Monastery is one of the first places of Christianity and at the same time the oldest monastery in Cappadocia. Selime Monastery, one of the most photogenic places in Cappadocia, is also called the cathedral, and there are some living quarters in it, such as a missionary school and a church.

The next stop, Ihlara Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in the world and it is exactly like an open-air museum. To reach this valley, you’ll walk under numerous stairs and visit Ağaçaltı Church, which has impressive art left from the 10th and 13th centuries, and finally walk through the riverside of the Melendiz River to Belisırma Village nearly 3.5 km walking way with a peaceful sound.

After a long walking tour, you have a break for lunch at the riverside! If the season is summer or spring, Belisırma Village is more colorful. You can rest your feet in the water when you eat something in the pergola over the river.

The other famous Valley in Cappadocia is Pigeon Valley near Uçhisar. You can see pigeon houses carved from stone by ancient inhabitants.

In Cappadocia, gemstones and semi-precious stones are processed in onyx studios and these studios are one of the pleasant stops of Green Tour Cappadocia.

Day 3 – Flight From Cappadocia to Istanbul

We will pick you up from the hotel according to your flight time and transfer you to the airport. Your flight time to Istanbul is about 1 hour and 35 minutes. (some days direct, some days connection flight via Istanbul).  Upon landing at Istanbul Airport, our team will meet you at the exit gate inside the domestic terminal. Then you will have a 1-hour drive to get to your hotel. Relax and enjoy your safe journey.

Day 4  –Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise Tour & Dolmabahce Palace

The tour will depart at 9.30 am and you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide before departure time.

Spice Market: The Spice Market hosts 88 shops, all under the same dome. This market, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar is a place that will make all your senses happy. You will feel alive while smelling the spices and herbs, tasting delicacies, seeing the vivid colors, and hearing the sounds of the crowd.

Rustem Pasha Mosque: A wonderful Mosque, mostly known for its beautiful interior, decorated by the amazing Iznik tiles. This masterpiece was designed by the famous Mimar Sinan but it was built after Rustem Pasha’s death, in 1563. Rustem Pasha was not only the Grand Vizier during the reign of Sultan Suleiman, but also the husband of Suleiman’s beloved daughter, Mihrimah.

Bosphorus Cruise Tour: Istanbul is the world’s only city situated on two continents. The Bosphorus straight separates Asia and Europe, and we give you the possibility of traveling between both continents and discovering this beautiful city by the sea.

Rumeli Fortress (from the sea): An imposing fortress, located on a hill on the European side right on the banks of the Bosphorus in the Sariyer district. Built in 1452 before the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II, in order to control commercial and military traffic. Inside the walls, there are three big towers that were named after the three viziers of Mehmet: Sadrazam Candarli Halil Pasha (larger tower), Zaganos Pasha (south tower), Sarica Pasha (north tower)

Ortakoy (nonstop): This lovely area, is located right under the first bridge of the Bosphorus, close to Dolmabahce Palace in the Besiktas district. Lying right on the banks of the Bosphorus provides amazing views of the city!

Bosphorus Bridge: Overshadowing Istanbul’s traditional architecture is one of the world’s largest suspension bridges, the Bosphorus Bridge, linking Europe and Asia.

Lunch By this time we will have lunch in a cozy and local restaurant.

Dolmabahce Palace (Closed on Mondays and Thursdays & replaced with Galata Tower)

Built in the 19th century this is one of the most dazzling palaces in the world. After 1856, it was turned into the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire until the last Ottoman Sultan lived there. The palace has three parts: the Imperial Mabeyn (State Apartments), Muayede Salon (Ceremonial Hall), and the Imperial Harem. At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel.
